Andrea Kemper

Andrea Kemper has worked in education for 18 years with Mesa County Valley School District 51 in Grand Junction, Colorado. A former school counselor, she currently serves as the Career & Technical Education (CTE) Director and Assistant Director of Career & College Readiness.

In her role, Andrea supports ICAP implementation, CTE programming, professional learning, concurrent enrollment, work-based learning, and community partnerships. She is dedicated to helping students become life ready by connecting education with meaningful future opportunities.

Outside of work, Andrea enjoys time with family, friends, and her two dogs. She also takes full advantage of the Western Slope lifestyle, including rafting, hiking, cycling, camping, and other outdoor adventures.

She holds a Master’s degree in Counseling and Human Services, and maintains multiple credentials, including Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), Principal License, School Counseling License, and CTE Specialist and Director Licenses.
