The Board for the Colorado Association for Career and Technical Administrators (CACTA) welcomes you to join us for a dynamic and enriching event tailored to empower you with the latest insights and strategies regarding Career and Technical Education in the state of Colorado. This summit is designed to bring together professionals like you to experience:

 

• Best Practices: Discover innovative approaches, best practices, and success stories that can be applied to your programs.

• Collaboration: Interact with the Colorado CTE State Office representatives and explore opportunities for collaborative projects and initiatives. 

• Recognition: Honorary Excellence Awards Ceremony, celebrating outstanding achievements in the field. 

• Professional Growth: Gain access to top-tier speakers and expert-led sessions covering the most relevant topics in CTE administration. A pre-conference event will be held on January 27 for those pursuing their CTE Director Credential. 

 

CONFERENCE PROPOSALS (BREAKOUT SESSIONS): 

The CACTA Board invites you to submit a presentation proposal for the 2026 CACTA Mid-winter Conference that showcases best practices, stories of successful collaborations, lessons learned, and solutions to current and emerging challenges within Career and Technical Education.  We encourage proposals that reflect a forward-looking approach and feature ideas that connect to our conference theme: Come One, Come All: Transform Your Future Through PWR.  We are aiming for a circus design while promoting engagement strategies for Post-secondary and Workforce Readiness (PWR). 

 

Please submit your proposal(s) HERE.  Submissions must be received by Friday, November 14, 2025.

Proposals will be reviewed as they are submitted, and email notifications to presenters will be sent by the beginning of December.  Please take advantage of this chance to influence the future of CTE in Colorado through Post-secondary and Workforce Readiness (PWR) strategies!  We look forward to your submissions.

There will be NO ONSITE Registration.

 

NOTE:

• Pre-conference session, CTE Director 101 Training - Successful completion of this training meets the CDE requirement to qualify for the initial CTE Director credential. This session is from 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, 1/27, and the cost is $50. This is a separate session to select in the registration form.:

• Post-conference session, CTE Director 201 Training - This follow-up training is only for those who currently hold an initial CTE Director credential wishing to move from Initial to Professional status through CDE. This session will follow the Business Meeting from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. on Friday, 1/30, and is offered at no additional cost. This is also a separate session to select in the registration form.

STUDENT DESIGN CONTEST: 

The CACTA Board is calling all CTE student designers to submit proposals for the conference Program Cover Design.

• Contest details and submission directions can be found HERE.

• Please share with your CTE instructors and their students. For consideration, all digital designs must be submitted by Friday, November 14, 2025. 

• First, second, and third place designs will be recognized at the conference, showcased within the conference program, and be awarded prizes.  

CACTA AWARD NOMINATIONS: 

We’re excited to announce that nominations are now open for the 2026 CACTA Awards!
