Jessica McAllister

Jessica McAllister currently serves as the Secondary Programs Coordinator for Lewis-Palmer School District in Monument, Colorado - with oversight of customized learning opportunities that prepare students for success in high school and beyond.  Through an approach that blends innovation, advocacy and determination, she has developed programs that calibrate and orient all students on their journey towards their postsecondary aspirations whether it be military service, religious endeavors, continued education or the workforce.  Her experience in serving agile learning systems extends back to 2006 when she began teaching for (and eventually joining the leadership team) at The Colorado Virtual Academy and has since extended to include the development of online/blended programming and systems to promote Concurrent Enrollment, Career and Technical Education and Work-based Learning opportunities. In addition to her service on the CACTA Executive Board, Jessica has contributed to the development and organization of Monumental Impact and the Minga Education Group - both local non-profit organizations. Both she and her husband, Aaron, are natives of the Pikes Peak Region and proud products of Colorado Springs School District 11. When not at work, Jessica enjoys spending time outdoors and with her family which consists of 2 school-aged daughters and a lab named Otis
